Dear Church Officers,
God has called and chosen you to serve his church and the community. The Calling is for action to “Go Teach” and make disciples. The “Calling” has brought all of us out of darkness into the marvelous light of truth. Every church department should be a soul saving unit. Our job is to spread that light. In days gone by the light was spread with ancient parchment scrolls. Scribes recorded sacred words to preserve them for the future. That was the technology of “then.”
Today there are New Methods, Electronic signals racing at the speed of light; digital chips as small as your fingernail that can hold millions of bites of memory. This Virtual Officers’ Meeting (VCOM) is modeling what we believe is God’s will for reaching the world. Thus our theme is “Same Calling – New Method.”
